EXPERIENCE AND CAREER
Most of our legal experience has been gained in the field of Construction Law, since the company has been a specialist in this field since 2013. Our work experience in construction has been acquired in the public and in the private sector (involving an international company). Our practical knowledge has been honed through the preparation of procedural documents and representation in courts. This has provided us with excellent skills in drafting various types of contracts in the Lithuanian and English languages (construction contracts, designs, maintenance services, project execution supervision, leases, lending, purchases and sales, distribution, etc.), in addition to letters, claims and replies.
The other areas of our practice include: Civil Law (family, succession, property, contract and medical law).
The main nature of our work: covers the representation of the interests of municipal institutions in courts, bailiffs’ offices and other governmental, management or law enforcement institutions, as well as the preparation of procedural documents.
Our area of responsibility – includes representing the interests of state enterprises and the Republic of Lithuania in court and the preparation of all related procedural documents. We also perform legal work with projects for the renewal/modernisation of state assets (preparation of construction contracts, including FIDIC contracts, and other agreements), as well as public procurements (preparation of procurement conditions, work in the public procurement commission).
In 2011, Milda Skirgailaitė-Pelėdė graduated from Vilnius University where she obtained a Master’s degree in Law.
From 2011, she worked at a municipal institution as a lawyer.
From 2013, Milda worked as a lawyer in a state-owned enterprise that centrally managed and supervised real estate belonging to the state.
Since 2019, she has been working as a lawyer in an international group of companies that implements large-scale projects of various profiles in both Western European and Scandinavian countries. The main functions of this work cover the preparation and analysis of contracts in various fields, in both Lithuanian and English (construction contracts, services, purchases and sales, leases, etc.), in addition to debt recovery, dispute resolution and advising subsidiaries on various legal issues.
